Sherman Todhunter Blosser
Project Assistant
[email]

Growing up with spirited Sunday discussions on current political events, it is no surprise Sherman Blosser and her three older siblings chose Political Science as their college majors. After graduating from the University of Colorado, Sherman worked as a paralegal before retiring to raise a family. During the ensuing years Sherman discovered volunteering to be rewarding, educational, and at times therapeutic. Through the Junior League Sherman received the necessary training to successfully serve and hold offices on various not for profit boards in the Denver and Kansas City areas. Sherman reentered the workforce to direct the training for a regional school-based mentoring initiative headquartered in Kansas City. Prior to moving to Mobile Sherman received her ASTD certification in Training and Development through the University of Oklahoma. As part of the Women’s Business Center’s staff Sherman is able to utilize her expertise as a facilitator, event planner, trainer, and coach. Sherman is married to Dennis and blessed with three children, Tara (Geoff Hill), Megan, and Boomer, granddaughters Shelby and Piper with a grandbaby on the way. She is currently a sustaining member of the Junior League of Mobile. Although still very interested in the political arena, Sherman adheres to the adage of avoiding discussions involving politics, religion, and money. She relaxes with long walks on the beach, reading, and playing golf.
